Event Horizon

Starting life as a gestural graphite sketch, this dense, interconnected field of biological, mechanical, and cosmic imagery appears to move inward and outward, creating the sensation of a system caught between expansion and collapse. Cellular and organic structures, always seem to appear in my work along with other shapes, growth, and  anatomical forms without ever settling into a single recognizable stability.
